Hello, fellow lovers of spice, stew, and stories! I’ve been away, but like a stubborn pot of boiling rice, you can’t keep me down for long. I’m baaaaack: with more food stories, more fun, and a lot more fire!
Let’s just say my hands were really full and I had to unpack, recover and reset.
What’s Been Cooking While I Wasn’t Blogging?
Apparently, food culture has been stretching its delicious arms across the globe. From Aussie BBQs to Ghanaian waakye, everyone is reclaiming food as joy, identity, indulgence and digital content.
Fun Fact #1: In Thailand, there’s a popular street food called Khanom Bueang, also called “Thai crepes.” They’re thin and crispy, and come with sweet or savory toppings. It’s like taco night but cuter, maybe!
And me? I’ve been eating bananas straight out of the peel, in oats and sometimes in smoothies, while standing in the kitchen making joyful noises as I take in the beauty of red tomatoes and drift into the world of flavours with the aroma of sizzling onions.
Where Did I Go? Everywhere… In my Mind Ofcourse.
Mentally, I traveled across the globe! One fine day, it was amazingly grilled fish from the coast of Senegal, the next, fish and chips in London and then pavlova in New Zealand, the most delicious burgers in Atlanta. Shout out to great food and dreams.

What I Learned During My Blogging Pause
You don’t need a passport to taste the world. Just a curious tongue and a daring plate.
Comfort food is universal, and food storytelling is the spice of life.
Your favorite meals don’t judge you, even when you’re eating leftover moi moi with cold pap.

I’m not just writing blogs, I’m enjoying life and giving food its flowers. So if you stumbled in here looking for something scrumptious, welcome!

Fun Fact #2: In Japan, there’s a dessert called mochi ice cream that’s chewy on the outside and cold on the inside. A snack and a surprise: just like my content.
